When you are buying a cigar for someone, there are some general rules to follow.  You tin’t always take the advice of someone as to what a “good cigar” really is.  Everyone has different tastes, and just similar you might love a Reese Cup, someone else might find it vile (hard to imagine though).  More expensive isn’t always better.  Yes, I’m jolly sure a cigar that costs less than a buck is probably not going to be very well, but you don’t have to spend a bundle to get a good premium stick.  Take for example the Perdomo Slow Aged No. 826.  This is a moderately priced cigar (around .50/stick) that is held in high regard.

Samplers can be your best friend.  Even if you think you know what your cigar smokers’ preferences are, samplers tin make a great gift.  Many are packed with highly rated cigars from different manufacturers that infected your recipient the chance to experience different cigars.  Everyone likes populating their humidor with a decent variety!
