Executive editor Gordon Mott and senior editor David Savona visit a cigar shop where they offer tips on how to pick out the perfect cigar for the right price.
@mathijs91 wow!, a BHK 52 will probably make you sick if you don’t smoke cigars regularly, I do smoke cigars every now and then but a BHK 52 is a rather flavoursome cigar, which I’d rather smoke after I become an experienced and serious cigar smoker (my very personal opinion though). Enjoy the cigars that you like best, if you don’t enjoy? certain cigars which are deemed ‘for connoisseurs’ don’t worry, smoke what you enjoy best and try different things.
@tomorocko you’re right, I smoke the montecristo no.4 and the partagas and really enjoy them, I would recommend ‘Trinidad’ and ‘hoyo de Monterrey epicure no.2′ amazing, not very strong but the flavours are very easy to appreciate on the go, without being ‘light’ nor ‘cigarette like’; unlike many Nicaraguan, Dominican? and Mexican cigars I’ve tried.
and am not saying that non-cuban cigars are inferiors.
@bamafb77563 the buzz is the equivelent of smoking 10-20 cigarettes at once depending on the cigar, it’s too much for most people to enjoy but I like them. I don’t smoke cigarettes because they contain over 50% reconstituted tobacco which is essentially tobacco flavored paper, fire retardants, fiber glass, and? other all around unpleasant substances while a handrolled cigar is (typically) all tobacco leaf the way nature intended.
My friends birthdays comin up and I want to get him something special. Are? there any cigars in the £20/25 range? I already got him something quite expensive so I can’t blow too much on a cigar, but it would still be nice to have a little something extra.
This points out EXACTLY why I chose to pickup a cigar… When I see someone smoking a cigar, they are either experienced, economically powerful, or very classy, or a combination of the three. My favorite brand is Gurkha? bur Macanudo doesn’t fall far behind
@christianz2010 I don’t smoke cubans frequently, but I have enjoyed a few , to me.. the taste the? same same as everything else, I enjoy Pipes, cigarettes, cigars, and cigarrillos.and I inhale everything in the privacy of my home, And my take is that the cheapest and most popular generally are as good as the high priced top shelf stuff. There is alot of biased smokers who can’t enjoy a cigar unless it’s cuban or simply for the fact that it is cuban, but to each his own, godspeed red one out!

@MrTravi94 If you can’t buy Cuban cigars, then I’d suggest you to pick a? Corona from VegaFina they’re mild and tastes sweet
